The two large objects have been found around 90ft (30m) underwater, says the chief of the Indonesia Search and Rescue Agency.
Fransiskus Bambang Soelistyo told reporters that the agency is attempting to get images of the parts using remotely operated underwater vehicles.
The AirAsia Airbus A320-200 plunged into the Java Sea on Sunday while en route from Indonesia's second-biggest city Surabaya to Singapore with 162 people on board.
The bodies of 30 victims have now been recovered from the sea.
No survivors have been found.
